The Band of Brothers Shakespeare Company assembles to recreate Shakespeare’s genius and influence to remind both player and audience of the dignity in language and life. The Company is dedicated to educational enrichment of both actor and community through production of classic theatre in the Laurel Highlands.
2010 will be a year of expansion for the Band of Brothers Shakespeare Company. We are encouraging our members, actors and board members to flex their creative muscle to bring even more quality local theatre to our region. We started off with Lloyd's Prayer , a comedy in 2 acts, by Kevin Kling in January 2010.
Stay tuned for more information about our annual Shakespeare Birthday Bash Production which will take place in late April or early May of 2010.
This summer, we celebrate our 20th season and we are brainstorming on how to celebrate 2 decades of Shakespeare in Stackhouse Park.
And, we hope to round out 2010 with a seasonal production in the 4th quarter. Check back soon for updates!
